What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the flowers of the hemp plant. While the hemp plant is cultivated in similar ways to medical marijuana, unlike its cousin tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is not psychoactive.
Is CBD Legal?
Our products are made from a CBD Isolate, derived from hemp grown legally in the United States. This product contains no traceable amount of THC, and is in compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill. Check your local laws to be 100% confident in your purchasing decision. We ship to all 50 US states, as well as internationally, and we’ll help you navigate the intricacies of compliance.

What is CBD Isolate?
CBD isolate is a 99% pure crystalline powder, that remains when oils, waxes, chlorophyll, and more are removed from the plant matter, leaving a THC free, isolated CBD concentrate.

How does CBD Work?
Working with a cannabis informed physician is the best place to start when planning to treat a symptom. The science behind CBD is based on a system in the body called the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). Different cannabinoids produce a number of effects in a number of ways but principally through interacting with Cannabis Receptors (CB). Research has shown that CBD is involved in modulating the CB-2 receptor, found in the immune system, pertaining to the sensation
of pain and inflammation.
After researching the safety and effectiveness
of CBD oil for treating epilepsy, the FDA approved the use of CBD (Epidiolex®) in 2018 as a therapy for two rare conditions characterized by epileptic seizures. This led to a groundswell of interest in integrating CBD into potential treatments. Many questions remain surrounding the best role of cannabinoids like CBD in broader therapeutic care, however, the evidence is clear that it begins with the Endocannabinoid System.
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) refers to a collection of cell receptors and corresponding molecules. With careful attention and monitoring, a healthy endocannabinoid system can be maintained with a new holistic paradigm known as Integrative Cannabinoid Care.
What is Integrative
Integrative Cannabinoid Care integrates holistic wellness programs into traditional care, starting with cannabinoids. ICC considers the ways patients and consumers engage with the cannabis plant and its products, while utilizing the best knowledge and practices of modern medicine.
